is it better to go to a Martial Arts School if you don’t like the system?

I live in a town Where there are only 3 martial arts schools that I know of, and I don’t care for either the system or the instructor. So I was wondering if I should just buy a set of training dvd’s or find a school and move there? But, to do so I would have to move to Arizona, or Ohio. I have 9 year old and a 7 Year old.

There’s bound to be a lot more places than those three. You said yourself that those are ones you only know of. Never buy videos or books to try and learn from. It’s a waste of money and only builds false courage. With a video or book, no ones there to correct the form and to offer advise. It’s big no-no. Going to a McDojo would be wiser than learning from such material.

Keep looking around and I’m sure you’ll find other places. Most legitimate schools get over looked because of the deep wallets McDojo’s have do dish out on advertising. There are quite a bit of people here in Answer. If you give a city there’s a possibility someone here who knows the area.

This is a 1996 all-star production from Paris of the original French version of Verdi’s epic five-act opera, Don Carlos. First produced in 1867, only Wagner would write musical drama on a grander scale, and because of the three-and-a-half-hour running time, most subsequent productions have made substantial cuts. This is therefore a rare opportunity to witness Verdi’s tragedy in its entirety. In …
