If I practice martial arts will I get muscles?
I’m 17, I’m interested in Martial Arts. I don’t want to look like young Arnold Swartzaterminator, I just wan’t basic muscles…i’m kinda scrawny.
Anyways, does it work?
How long would I have to work at it?
Tips please.

If you do martial arts, muscles will get stronger, but you probably wont get ripped.

Before I started doing weights, I only had martial arts, I was a very skinny kid. I had been doing Karate for years before I started any weight training. I was not big, and the only muscles you could see were my abs and pecs, these were not even that big, you could only just see the outline.

If you want to get big, you have to do weights and exercises. As I said, martial arts will strenghten muscles, but not make them big.

Best of luck!
