UFC 102: AND THE WINNER IS…

The day has finally come! The octagon will surely be stained with Mixed Martial Arts Fighter’s blood. UFC 102 is will surely be an action packed night. Well, with Randy Couture going up against Antonio Nougueira on the main event, we should really expect the unexpected. The 46 year old Randy Couture has always been known for being an underdog in his fights but has always proven that his mixed martial arts fighting style is one of the best in the world of mixed martial arts. He is known for his dirty boxing style, his grappling ability, his mental conditioning – in short being well versed mixed martial artist. Randy Couture defeated a lot of UFC superstars of their time, including “The Huntington Beach Bad Boy” Tito Ortiz (who is rumored to set his feet back on the Octagon later this year), “The Phenom” Vitor Belfort (who will be fighting on UFC 103 against Rich Franklin), “The Iceman” Chuck Liddell, Tim Sylvia, and Gabriel Gonzaga. During the official weigh-in, Randy looks like he is in best condition, but how far can he go with Antonio Nogueira? Will he be able to win this fight? “The Minotauro” Antonio Nogueira is known to be the Come Back King. He has been there before, so many times that it’s hard to pick just one favorite comeback. Was it the time that he rebounded frome being driven head first into the canvassby Bob Sapp to submit the 6 foot 5, 350 pounder? How about the one when he absorbed a flurry of head kicks from Mirko Cro Cop but still managing to make him tap out? Or was it losing the first 2 rounds to the giant Tim Sylvia but ended up as the winner by submission in round three? Do you still remember how he submitted Brock Lesnar? Both of these fighter are unpredictable and that’s what makes this match extremely exciting to watch. Will Randy Couture manage to knockout The Minotauro or will Nogueira make another come from behind victory? Who will win UFC 102 main event? The watchers are definitely the winners on this fight! The undercards for this event are also very exciting. Keith Jardine will go up against Thiago Silva, Gabriel Gonzaga (who defeated Mirko Cro Cop with his own signature head kick), Brandon Vera (who once defeated Frank Mir), and “The Crippler” Chris Leben, will be adding up some spice to UFC 102: Randy Couture VS Antonio Nogueira.   source: http://www.mmaupdates.tk
